The personal information collected is in accordance with section 33 (c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (the FOIP Act) (RSA 2000,C.F-25) and will be protected under Part 2 of the Act.

Any personal information that is provided in the Trades and Apprenticeship Community of Expertise Enrollment Survey will be used for the purpose of distributing trades or apprenticeship-related information updates and invitations to participate in such engagement activities as polls, surveys, webinars, in-person/video/teleconference meetings and focus groups.

Participation in engagements initiated through this database will be voluntary, with no financial compensation unless specifically identified in each activity’s invitation. You can withdraw from the database at any time by completing the unsubscribe form that will be sent to you in your welcome email.

Please note the purpose of engagement activities will be to exchange information and perspectives, not to draft or approve motions for a board or its committees. Submission to this Community of Expertise is not accepted as an application to a committee established by the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board (or, in future, the Alberta Board of Skilled Trades).
